Birmingham Senior Cup

The Birmingham Senior Cup competition began in 1876 and is the oldest county cup competition still active.

Leicestershire clubs entered the cup competition seven times during the nineteenth century – 1893-94 (Loughborough), 1894-95 (Loughborough), 1895-96 (Leicester Fosse and Loughborough),1896-97 (Leicester Fosse and Loughborough), 1897-98 (Leicester Fosse and Loughborough), 1898-99 (Leicester Fosse and Loughborough) and 1899-1900 (Leicester Fosse).

Loughborough reached the semi-final stage in 1893-4, where they were eliminated by West Bromwich Albion, who shared the Cup with Wolverhampton Wanderers, following a drawn final.
